Eddie Jordan Slams Alpine’s Poor Performance in F1 2024 Season, Warns Drivers May Depart

8 months ago By Sports Desk

Eddie Jordan has criticized Alpine’s poor performance in the 2024 F1 season and warned that drivers could leave the team.

The 2024 Formula 1 season has seen ups and downs for a number of teams, with one of the latest criticisms being leveled at former team boss Eddie Jordan’s poor performance at Alpine. Jordan expressed concern for the French team, warning that drivers could leave the team with results that did not meet expectations.

Despite a promising start to the season at Alpine, the team’s overall performance left much to be desired, with Esteban Ocon scoring a few early points. In a recent interview, Jordan questioned Alpine’s direction and ability to provide its drivers with a competitive car.

Jordan revealed that while Ocon and teammate Fernando Alonso are talented drivers, they are frustrated by the team’s lack of progress and may consider other options for their Formula 1 careers.

The former team boss was particularly critical of Alpine’s performance against its rivals, with the team failing to keep up with the pace of development of the other teams on the grid. He also expressed concern about the lack of results in the Alpine series and the potential impact this could have on driver motivation and confidence.

In addition, Jordan emphasized the importance of strong leadership within the team, so that resources and talent can be properly deployed to develop the car. He warned that if Alpine could not improve its performance and provide a comfortable environment for passengers, they could choose opportunities with other teams that showed more promise of success.

Jordan’s criticism comes at a crucial time for Alpine, which is looking to establish itself as a competitive force in Formula 1. As the season progresses, the team will need to quickly address the concerns of the previous team boss and work to improve your performance. If you want to keep your motivation and attract future talent.

However, time will tell whether Jordan’s criticism will have any effect on Alpine and whether the team can turn things around to secure the 2024 Formula 1 season.
