Has Ferrari Set The Presentation Date For Its 2024 F1 Car?

11 months ago By Sports Desk

The 2023 F1 season just concluded, but it looks like Ferrari is already thinking about the 2024 season. Recently, Italian media revealed a possible date for the presentation of the 2024 F1 car.

The 676, the project code for the 2024 Ferrari F1 car, is in the works at the Racing Division, while aerodynamic development continues in the wind tunnel. In the wind tunnel, aerodynamic research is ongoing, and the 676 is being constructed in the Gestion Sportiva. Despite their low-key attitude toward the public following last year’s theatrical announcements, the Maranello crew seems to be feeling a certain amount of hope.

After a Red Bull-dominated 2023 season, Ferrari was the only other team to grab one victory at the iconic Singapore Grand Prix via Carlos Sainz. Ferrari is putting in extra effort to be more competitive this year. They also want to break the jinx of being content with handpicked wins.

As Fred Vasseur’s interview with F1 journalists was confirmed on December 15, the team principal’s staff is planning the start of the 2024 season with the idea of revealing the Cavallino’s seventieth single-seater on Tuesday, February 13th, with a brief debut on the track.

From 2024, FIA is allowing 200 km to be covered instead of 100km. That gives the team more opportunity to gather information from the car before sending it to the preseason winter test in Bahrain starting on February 21st.

The Italians are always known for their brilliance in innovation and design, although in recent years, they haven’t earned that much success. But everything seems to be changing now, especially after Bossman Freddy Vasseur’s arrival.

Ferrari, the oldest and one of the richest F1 teams, is always explosive in showcasing its designs and the newness of its cars. And this year’s reveal is also going to be grand, but how grand? Only time will tell. Pronouncements: taking a chance on joint media exposure on a day that is so significant for sponsors and investors. As there is still a chance of a move lasting a few days at most, the Scuderia has not yet established a fixed date.

As all the teams in the grid are trying to fix a date for the presentation of the 2023 season,  Scuderia Ferrari is yet to release a statement confirming their presentation date for the 2024 season. There are rumors that the Ferrari team is trying to delay the release of the new car as much as possible so as not to show off its technical solutions to the other teams.
